I decided to research on statutory rape. The main focus will be on if a minor was to have sex with an 18-20 year old, would it be considered rape and why. In different states, the ages are different so I will talk about that as well.
This topic is controversial because both teens and their parents have different views. The parents want it to be rape so they the 18 year old can be charged. There was consent, so the teens feel it is legal.
